GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Castle class No 7010 'Avondale Castle' with the later Hawksworth high sided tender stands at Leamington's up platform in August 1948. Number 7010 was built by Swindon works in June 1948 so its not strictly an ex-GWR engine and lasted until April 1964 when it was withdrawn from Reading shed to be scrapped in June 1964 by R Hayes of Bridgend.
