The doyens of railway photographic history are seen posing in this and image 'gwrlr946' as they walk the branch line from Moreton-in-Marsh to Shipston-on-Stour. CR Clinker, CL Mowatt and CF Klapper with DS Barrie taking the photograph. The original branch line to Shipston-on-Stour joined the tramway at Illmington facing Stratford-upon-Avon which meant traffic from Moreton-in-Marsh to Shipston-on-Stour had to reverse from the junction.
