This close up of image 'gwrlm599' that the milk churns were sent in both directions from Long Marston with at least three waiting to be transported. The platform's hard standing appears to be made of granite sets or 'cobbles'. The refuge siding on the down side appears to be occupied although it cannot be determined whether there was a locomotive in attendance. Note too the 'picket' type fencing on the up platform and the signal just above the small timber waiting room.
