This close up of image 'gwrlm479' shows the cycle shed erected at the base of the passenger footbridge. It is believed that the concrete lamppost, together with the electric light above the up platform waiting room, were installed at the same time that the footbridge was erected. Note the cast iron bench seating on the right which has GWR cast into its 'legs'. The concrete lamppost has a BR totem with the station's name attached to it.
