This close up of image 'gwrlm479' provides a comparative view of the level crossing seen in image 'gwrlm478'. Besides the addition of the passenger footbridge the signal controlling traffic leaving the station has been replaced with a signal suspended from a cantilevered arm. The reason for the change being that the sight line has been affected by the erection of the passenger footbridge. Note too the addition of a swan's kneck electric light suspended above and to the front of the down platform.
