Hall Green Station: gwrhg461

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 No 6947 'Helmingham Hall' is seen on a passenger express passing through station on the fast up line. Number 6947, a member of the 49XX class, was built at Swindon in December 1942 and continued service until withdrawn from Oxford shed in November 1965 before being scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in April 1966.
