GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Twenty months after the air raid and the main office block's external structure has now been largely repaired although internal work is still far from complete. The blast damage to the building meant that even the end nearest the camera which looked structurally complete required the top floor to be replaced. The distinctive veranda has not been replaced although its floor has been left to form a balcony. 11th August 1943
