The chief clerk's office situated within the Invoice office was responsible for both the Staff and Invoice office. The office is very bare by today's standard even taking into consideration the photograph was taken just prior to closure. The only pieces of equipment being the telephone and filing tray. The windows opened out on to the Top shed at the All Saints Street end of the yard.
