GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

The main office block with the full title 'Geat Western Railway Goods Depot Hockley' displayed on the veranda that over looked 'The Farm', the trackwork between the two original sheds at Hockley. The horse-drawn wagons display the sheeting used to protect the goods whilst in transit to and from the depot. A little over eighteen months after this photograph was taken the office block was significantly damaged by german bombers. 2nd May 1939
