This view of the bonded store was taken from Pitsford Street but at a different angle to that seen in image 'gwrhd746' which showed the extensive bomb damage. The new brickwork shows just how extensive the repairs were. As is evident, the office block was three stories high from street level but only two from yard level. The street level accommodation being utilised for the storage of bonded items, a practice common to most railways where "underground spaces were available".
