GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Looking southwards with the old Outward and Tranship shed on the right. This view taken at the beginning of the First World War shows that a substantial amount of freight was moved in open wagons compared to twenty or so years later when Box vans predominated. The enclosed area on the right has been formed with iron railings and appears to be grassed and paved with borders etc.
