The original goods shed was of a rather unusual design. The author has not seen any other photographs of the shed so can only surmise that the gable end seen housed offices or similar over two floors. The roof line appears to change in line with the chimney indicating that from this point to the other end of the building it was wider, probably twice the width. The door on the end appears to provide access for road transport being to the floor having the canopy over the door.
