GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Henley in Arden - New Station: gwrha472

Looking towards Stratford Upon Avon during the 1960s. The passenger footbridge extended across all three platforms allowing access to the station from both sides of the line. An unusual feature is what looks like a screen on the sides above the metal sheeted sides. This feature is only the part of the footbridge that crosses the main up and down line. Whilst it may be assumed that this was a safety feature if it was essential at this point why not elsewhere?
