built bicycle shed provided by the Great Western in the early 1930s. Access to
the bicycle shed was gained via the station approach road. During the late
1920s early 1930s the Great Western, in common with many other railway
companies operating in the region, provided storage facilities for bicycles.
This was because commuting to the large cities and towns had increased
reflecting the relative boom benefiting light engineering businesses based in
cities such as Birmingham and Coventry. Commuters
