A 1950s view of the Booking Office standing on Norton Lane at the approach to Grimes Hill & Withall Platform's up platform. Since the 1930s the only substantive change has been the addition of a corrugated iron bicycle shed and a small lock-up store. Whereas the increase in passenger traffic was initially driven by office workers commuting to Birmingham later this also included factory workers too many of whom would bike to the station and leave their bicycles at the station. Facilities for storing bicycles were constructed at many stations along the North Warwickshire Railway's route and other railway companies stations too.
