In this close up of image 'gwrel459' we can see the main station building located on the down platform. The goods yard, whilst incomplete, has the long siding constructed and has a number of vans standing on it. This long siding was used by local coal merchants for the importation of coal, in addition, the yard was equipped with a cattle dock.
