GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Ex-ROD 2-8-0 No 3014 is seen stopped to receive attention by the driver. The GWR bought a number of these ex-ROD locomotives after the First World War and they were a common sight in the area in between the wars. Number 3014 was built by the North British Locomotive Company in May 1919 and was originally allocated the ROD No 2026. It survived until October 1955 when it was withdrawn from Carmarthen.
