GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Danzey for Tanworth Station: gwrdt658

Looking towards Birmingham along the up platform with the replacement concrete passenger footbridge in the middle distance and signal box beyond. The station staff still had a pride in the station and whilst it was winter time the flower beds were still being marked out with white paint as was the platform edges. The original GWR sign, being longer than normal, is obviously showing its age as an extra support, formed from old rail, has been added to support the middle section.
