Looking towards Stratford upon Avon shortly after opening of the station in 1908 with Danzey Green Lane road bridge in the distance. The passenger footbridge appears to be steel structure with timber cladding. At sometime in the future, and for unknown reason, this was changed to a concrete footbridge. The station buildings are of the sectional type formed by using asbestos sheeting on a timber frame and which were employed by the GWR at a number of locations - Spring Road, Grimes Hill and Wooten Wawen - along the Birmingham & North Warwickshire Railway route.
