GWR Route: Alcester to Hatton Junction

This view looking towards Hatton in the 19501950'ss shows the replacement station built the south side of the roadbridge when the line was doubled in 1939. At the same time a new reinforced concrete footbridge was constructed with ramps down to each platform.

Through the road bridge's archway the over grown goods yard can be seen. This was the site of the original raised loading wharf see 'gwrc12', which was replaced in 1939 by a new siding with trailing connections to each running line.
