GWR Route: Alcester to Hatton Junction

Claverdon Station: gwrc7

View of the road-level buildings during the late 1950s

The road–level station buildings always had very limited road side car parking. Behind the car and iron railings to the left of the picture is the path to the 1930s concrete footbridge, which gave access to the up platform. Notice the blank notice boards as the station faced an uncertain future at this time. Today these buildings still exist, but they are not assessable to the public, as Claverdon is now an un-staffed halt. C1950.
