View of Snow Hill station's parcels office and yard which was located off Great Charles Street under the station in October 1925. The steel girders seen above are running parallel with the running lines through the station and are tied together by cross-girders which have been in-filled by light coloured glazed bricks in the form of an arch. The same light coloured bricks have been used to clad the walls with as part of the design to 'light up' what was a dark area even in daylight. The lifts seen at the buffer stop end of the bay platforms were provided to allow parcel traffic from Great Charles Street access to the platforms.
