Viewed from the Bearley North Junction Signal Box looking
towards Birmingham with the Alcester branch curving away to the left. The
Edstone Aqueduct dominates the background and although only 33' high at its
highest point, at 489 ft long, it is the longest cast-iron canal aqueduct in
England. In the foreground is the Bearley to Aston Cantlow road underbridge.
The road follows the branch for a short distance. Summer 1947.
