In this close up of image 'gwrbg82' the bridge girders
spanning the road at the Birmingham end of the station can clearly be seen. The
signal box controls the crossover from the fast to slow lines as well as the
cattle dock sidings located by the redundant viaduct designed to connect the
Birmingham & Oxford railway to the LNWR at Curzon Street.
