GWR Route: Hatton to Bearley and Alcester Branch

Bearley down platform looking towards Bearley East Junction Signal Box. With Collett 48xx class 0-4-2T No 4801 with Alcester Auto Trailer assembling a mixed train before working through to Alcester. The goods wagons would always be marshalled at the rear of the train, whereas the engine/auto trailer combination could operate in either direction. Thus this train would travel to Alcester with the engine sandwiched in the middle. No 4801 was allocated to Alcester between July 1936 – January 1938.
