GWR Route: Hatton to Bearley and Alcester Branch

Close up of image 'gwr770' which shows that beyond the
platforms is the girder bridge over the main Birmingham – Stratford road.
The single track line to Claverdon is on the left, with a short parallel siding
on the right, beyond the crossover. This crossover was later moved to the other
side of the road bridge to extend the platform loop. Note the absence of
Alcester from Station Name Board as the track had been lifted from the Branch
during WW1. At this time the Station Master was Joseph Tolley. C1920-22.
