GWR Route: Hatton to Bearley and Alcester Branch

The goods yard and station in 1949. The yard is empty, but not yet completely closed, despite regular freight services being withdrawn in 1947. When the Alcester Branch was reopened in 1923 freight traffic amounted to 4,230 tons annually. The station had closed for passengers on 3rd July 1944, but the station master’s house remained occupied.
