The ladies lavatory was accessed directly from the waiting room area via an internal door, while the door to the platform being for the gentlemen.

The corrugated iron goods shed, which was erected on the platform in 1908, was a standard GWR design. At the same time other alterations were carried out in the goods yard including turning the original goods siding into a loop, which required an additional two-lever ground frame.
