Looking North along 'Racecourse's up platform and through the former SMJ railway bridge towards Stratford on Avon station circa 1956. The down signal, which can just be seen behind the bridge abutment on the right, is in the 'off' position indicating that a train is due to pass through. The figures seen on the bridge are standing on the former SMJ route to Broom whilst the SMJ's 'Stratford Old Town' station is on the right, just out of view of this photograph. C1956
