A 1925 map showing the northern approach to Leamington station, the goods yard and the exchange sidings

A 1925 map showing the northern approach to Leamington station, the goods yard and the exchange sidings. Leamington North Signal Box (S.B. on the map) was located so that the signalmen would have an excellent view of the sidings that were located on both the up and down side. The LNWR set of exchange sidings on the top left with the GWR exchange sidings located between them and the main line running past the Imperial Stove Works. The works were to late become part of the Ford Motor Company producing foundry parts and were closed in the early 21st century. The exchange sidings were built on the site of Leamington's shed which was to be relocated circa 1905 to a position south of the town. A 6 ton fixed crane can be seen on the approach road to the shed. See image 'gwrls2045' for the southern section of the map of the station and yard.
