View looking towards Rowington Junction showing the end of the forty chain double siding. In this circa 1960 view there is one siding accommodating redundant coaching stock. The photographer is standing on Finwood Road overbridge. The two sidings, minus the carriages, can be seen in image 'gwrha3221' which also shows in the background the bridge this photograph was taken from. In image 'gwrrj2771' some of the above carriages are being hauled away by ex-LMS 0-6-0 Class 4F No 44219 on their way to being scrapped.
