LNER 4-6-0 class B17 /4 No 2848 'Arsenal' on a down express train. A number of this class were named after famous football clubs which gave the class the nickname the 'footballers'. Built at Darlington in March 1936 it acquired the BR running number 61648 before its withdrawal from Stratford shed in December 1958, the same month it was scrapped at Doncaster Plant. C1939
