Extracts from the Great Western Railway's Public Time Tables of 1934 advertising the new Express Business Service by Streamlined Luxury Rail Cars. The advert on the left is from the Summer 1934 Time Table (9th July to 30th September), while that on the right is from the Winter 1934 Timetable (1st October 1934 to 7th July 1935) and includes an extra stop at Cheltenham Spa. The Great Western Railway’s publicity department were quick to realise the value of these new railcars.
