Tyseley Station: gwrt293

View of Tyseley station taken from the Birmingham end of the up relief platform looking in the direction of Leamington. The gas lampposts seen in image 'gwrt294b' have been replaced during the early 1950s whilst the GWR station name boards have been replaced by British Railways enamel versions. In addition, each lamppost has fixed to it a British Railways 'totem' name sign. The platform surfaces were tarmac with paved platform edgings with the latter being double the width for the majority of the length of the platform and single towards the end.
