Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Castle Class No 5010 'Restormel Castle' passes Tyseley Goods shed on an up express train circa 1955. The bracket signal on the left is for the down main controlling which route the train will take at the crossover seen in the distance. The set of signals on the left are for trains to Moor Street whilst the right hand signals control trains to Snow Hill, and as can be seen, a train is signalled to proceed to Snow Hill. The double junction was wrecked by a down train on 22nd May 1967 and subsequently taken out of use. The siding alongside the goods shed is protected by a loading gauge.
