British Railways Standard Class 6 4-6-2 No 72008 'Clan MacLeod', on a rare visit, is seen at Tyseley on 26th March 1963. The locomotive had just arrived on a special from Leeds and was to return north with GWR 4-6-0 No 7929 'Wyke Hall' acting as pilot. The DMU refueling bays can be seen to the right of the locomotive. Clan MacLeod was built by Crewe works in February 1952 and and was to remain in service until April 1966 being withdrawn from 68A Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped soon after J McWilliams of Shettleston.
