Ex-GWR 2-6-2T 'Large Prairie' No 5166 is seen departing the up platform on an afternoon three-coach service to Snow Hill on Sunday 21st April 1957. Standing in the Cold Store loop line is a four-coach set of Birmingham Division stock. Built by Swindon works to Lot 259 in November 1930 No 5166 was to remain in service until May 1961 when it was withdrawn from 86E Severn Tunnel Junction shed to be scrapped during September 1961 by Swindon works.
