Ex-GWR 78xx Class 4-6-0 No 7818 'Granville Manor' is seen with a Type 5 working on 26th September 1964. Built by Swindon works to Lot 316 in January 1939, No 7818 remained in service until January 1965 when it was withdrawn from 6F Machynlleth shed. British Railways Train Reporting Codes for post 1962 record that a Type 5 working covered Express freight train partly fitted, with the automatic brake operative on NOT less than half of the vehicles. Maximum speed 50 mph.
