Looking south from Newbold Wharf along the tramway towards Moreton-in-Marsh on 3rd March 1918

The tramway looking south from Newbold Wharf was photographed on 3rd March 1918. It is believed that this section of tramway which ran to Longdon Road Station was last used in 1904 when the Great Western Railway’s inspection records finish. The track was removed from the disused tramway during 1918, while the route was officially abandoned in the Great Western Railway Act (4th August 1926).
