GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 No 5946 'Marwell Hall' stands at Platform 3 after arriving with the 9:10am Kingswear to Moor Street via Banbury service on 3rd September 1960. Built by Swindon works to Lot 290 in March 1935 No 5946 was to remain in service until July 1962 when it was withdrawn from 87J Goodwick shed in Fishguard to be scrapped by Birds of Bridgend.
