GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton
Moor Street Station: gwrms2748
View from the Bordesley side of Moor Street Signal Box
showing the deep windows at the rear of the signal box. This was the second
signal box erected at Moor Street, the first being replaced in September 1913
when alterations were made to the track as part of widening Bordesley Viaduct
and the development of Moor Street's goods facilities. When erected, the box
was positioned to ensure that it had good view of the crossover between the
relief and main lines as well as the approach to Moor Street passenger and
goods stations.
