GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

GWR 4-6-0 Saint class No 2912 'Saint Ambrose' from Old Oak shed on what John Copsey thinks was the 9. 10am from Paddington, which was scheduled to slip a coach at Leamington. John writes "A slip signal was located out at the canal bridge, and the guard would detach at the second road bridge". Number 2912 was built at Swindon in August 1907 and was in service until February 1951 when it was withdrawn from Weymouth shed. 9th Sept 1911
