Close up of image 'gwrls2084' showing one end of the short train and the method adopted to stable the girder during transit. In this view the raised short jib indicates that it has just been travelling out of gauge the short distance from the site of the bridge to the shed where the longest span of the replacement bridge had been erected. Note that not only is the jib too high and therefore out of gauge but the girder is only held in place by the crane and one set of chains to the wagon.
