GWR 4-6-0 No 6013 'King Henry VIII' is seen approaching Knowle and Dorridge at the head of an express train in September 1929. Built at Swindon works in May 1928 it was first allocated to Old Oak Common shed and was first modified with the 'Alfloc' water treatment in 1954 and later with a double chimney fitted in June 1956. It remained in service until June 1962 when it was withdrawn from Stafford Road after running for 1,950,400 miles to be scrapped by Swindon works.
