GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 No 6849 'Walton Grange' is seen standing at Handsworth and Smethwick signal box whilst working a Ffestiniog Society Special on 1st May 1965. Built by Swindon works in October 1937, No 6849 remained in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from 81F Oxford shed to be scrapped by Cashmore's of Newport in March 1966.
