Ex-GWR 4-6-0 49xx 'Hall' class No. 4902 'Aldenham Hall' on a seven coach express climbing the down main at on Hatton Bank circa 1955. This view is another from the bridge seen in 'gwrhb96'. Engine No 4902 was an early member of the 330 strong ‘Hall’ class mixed traffic engines, being built at Swindon in December 1928. This engine was involved in an accident at Rugby in February 1961 and withdrawn from Taunton Shed (83B) in September 1963 to be scrapped in May 1964 by G Cohen of Morriston, Swansea.
