Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Class 5 No 45188 battles up Hatton bank with a heavy northbound freight service on 22nd April 1965. Built by Armstrong Whitworth in September 1935, No 45188 remained in services until July 1967 when it was withdrawn from 8C Speke shed.
