GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-Great Western Railway 49xx Class 4-6-0 No 6933 'Birtles Hall' descends Hatton Bank with the 11:00 am Wolverhampton to Weymouth service on 8th August 1964. Built by Swindon works in December 1941, No 6933 was to remain in service for just a few months after the photograph was taken being withdrawn in November 1964 from 2B Oxley shed.
