Henley in Arden - Original Station: gwrha475b

Close up of image 'gwrha475' showing Henley-in-Arden's disused original station building now being used to provide accommodation for the station master of the new station. The former gentlemen's toilet which was located adjacent to the gable wall nearest the camera has been turned into an outhouse complete with sloping tiled roof. The doorway to the far room has also been bricked up as part of the process of turning the station into acceptable living quarters for the station master and his family. Whilst the platform was no longer in use - except as a flower bed - the track alongside is still in use for providing head shunt facilities for the goods yard.
