Close up of image 'gwrgh89' showing the replacement timber built passenger waiting room building on the up platform which replaced the two Pagoda buildings. The building was built from standard sectional timber units and has one central door providing access to a central lobby. From the lobby there are two waiting rooms on either side both warmed by cast iron stoves as indicated by the metal chimneys. The original GWR cast iron framed benches have been replaced with timber benches, two of which are protected with a utilitarian canopy supported from the edge of the roof.
